We live in a vibrational reality. Its currents are invisible, but its effects are not. You are a vibration station. This means that you are a center of vibration (feeling) and your vibration out returns to you in the field of your life experience.
Air represents intellect, defined as, “the power or faculty of the mind by which one knows or understands, as distinguished from that by which one feels and that by which one wills.”
What does distinguished from feeling and willing mean? How may it be true; and how may it be not true?
Air contains moisture and moisture is water. Water is feeling. Feeling is represented by Cancer and willing is represented by Leo. They are indeed in opposite hemispheres from Aquarius, and so distinguished or separate. However, the circle that the Sun and the astrology wheel represent, is whole.
This separating and distinguishing can be a problem if the separation is not understood to be related and cooperative. Hence one of the meanings of the Aquarius glyph is “As above, so below.” We could say that mind is reflected by feelings. In Aquarius we have the twin waves. In the first air sign, Gemini, we have two vertical lines joined above and below by horizontal lines. The Libra glyph does not “twin,” though there is an above and a below (in Tarot the Libra Key is 11, twin one’s, and the scale that represents Libra is composed of identical pans). To me this means that I and any other that I am in relationship with, for good or ill, are 1, although we may be two 1’s, and I might not be able to fathom who you really are and what you are doing in my life. This goes for personal as well as impersonal relationships. Any one or “they” who get me going are ones that I have vibrated to me. I/we vibrate on a personal (Leo) and collective (Aquarius) level.
Another meaning given for intellect is, “minds collectively, as of a number of persons or the persons themselves,” a definition that sounds like Aquarius, which is considered a sign of the collective, especially that aspect of the collective that is advancing and free of imposed or commonly accepted ways and mores. Aquarius is the sign of the unencumbered individual as well as groups of individuals.
During this full moon eclipse we are directed to know this: to the extent we love or do not love the other, the other reflects our own thoughts, beliefs, and feelings that then reverberate as the issues—which we call good or bad. It is futile to attack the issue that is your own vibration. Don’t like the issue? Then take your eyes and speech off of the person or things you don’t like. By repeatedly condemning “the unwanted,” you actually charge the unwanted like a cell phone battery connected to an electrical current. Instead, commit to expressing your own well-being by your own light. Speak love. Speak appreciation. And if it’s too much to speak appreciation of that situation or person vexing you, find someone or something to bestow appreciation upon.
The tone of this full moon chart is Aries because of the mostly fire and mostly cardinal signs. Mars is at 13 degrees of Aries squaring Saturn at 13 degrees of Capricorn. Both are strong in their own signs and exalted in each other’s signs. Saturn square Mars can indicate circumstances that seem to block or inhibit the motion and desire of our personal volition. The Mars has trouble being a free individual because Saturn seems to put up walls and limitations and seems to be hyper vigilant in the comings and goings of the individual. Recognize that this may reflect our excessive guardedness and distrust of ourselves to blaze our own trail and create the life that we will.

You are free (Aquarius) to trust your authentic self (Leo) in order to create a life that you love. If you are already off the mark of your resolutions for the new year, consider that your resolutions might represent “should” instead of self. Explore what is true for you now. What floats your boat and focuses your creative will? Commit to that joy.
