It is not your worse fear.

I used to worry about physical symptoms and share with my ex-husband my concerns and theories about what it was. He would tell me to go to the doctor and find out what it’s not. His saying that always stopped me. A visit to the doctor always resulted in a benign diagnosis.

I am sure that a lot of us feel a symptom and think: cancer; or miss a beat and think Alzheimer’s.

Even if the news is hell, it could still end up being the best thing that ever happened to you. The problem or situation can hold a hidden opportunity.

Don’t panic. Don’t fold. Don’t flee.

Remain calm. Face your fears. Keep the faith. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen.” Hebrews 11.1. Faith is not passive wishing. Faith is an active inner stance. Treat your hope as something real and formative, guiding your thoughts, choices, and emotional responses.

Since you are using your imagination anyway, imagine things going your way instead of imagining things going wrong. Believe that you have what you want.

The directive for this period is to become more trusting of the unseen world, to anticipate good instead of anticipating evil.

Think about this as if you are creating the tapestry of your life and you notice some missed or ill-formed threads. You do not continue the chaos, unless you think you can make something out of your error—a happy accident. You stop, pick the errant threads, and continue with your creation.

No matter where your life is now, there is always another step possible. You can always correct your course. Declare that this issue is going to work out because things always do.  Even if the news is bad as hell at the time, give it over to spirit, to trust in the goodness of the universe.

The New Moon in Aries is an opportunity to press the reset button on believing in your unseen and unproven self.

Practicum

When fear arises, pause, seek clarity, and avoid catastrophic imagination. Create a small work of art. A doodle will do. Watch the mind calm. The calm is evidence of things unseen. Faith is not passive wishing; it is an active inner stance. Treat your hope as something real and formative, guiding your thoughts, choices, and emotional responses.
