Full Moon | September 26, 2026 | 3 Aries 37’

“What makes people decline is that they start forking in the direction that doesn’t allow them to be the receivers of this never-ending Stream of Well-Being. You don’t have to decline.” Or so says the writer.

Do I believe that? I see decline in myself and people my age, and even younger. I feel a certain heaviness in my own body. I don’t move lithely.

Is there reality beyond the physical world? What is its nature and how can I thrive in it? How can I get beyond the existence of slowing down? I find myself unable to put together heavier things, because I don’t have the strength to lift and hold some pieces, or torque screws tightly. I am having to coach myself to get fewer groceries on stock-up shopping day, because even with a shopping cart (which has its own weight and has to be carried to the car, and lifted in and out), pushing and pulling at the cart, up the gentle slopes that lead from the parking lot to my door is a chore.

This is plain to see, and it would not be incorrect to label it decline.

However, what you focus on expands, even if expands to stiffness and slower movement.

The Universe and my study of it through astrology and ageless wisdom, bids me to tweak what I say, to the “appearance” of decline. Yes. I see evidence that I am in a 77-year-old body. But I don’t have to fork in the direction of old-acting. That means, don’t whine. Do not go gently into careless talk that makes you feel not so good.

I can fork in the direction of optimism and acceptance. Modify and adapt with a smile. I can acknowledge the health and wealth that I do have. I can be encouraged that my 30-year-old Uber driver was incredulous the other day that I am 77.

The Moon is full at 3 degrees Aries and is between Neptune and Saturn in Aries. Aries says, if it’s to be, it’s up to me. For emphasis, the asteroids of wisdom, fortitude and healing, are all in Aries. You can say it with me (all ages). “If it’s to be, it’s up to me.”  I can’t join in with the small talk of whining about declining. The word fork makes me think of the trident that represents the symbol of Neptune. Neptune is Deity of the Waters, emotions, memories and feelings. Be careful how you fork at this full moon, you can be disillusioned, victim, and weak, or you can adopt authority and self-determination.

Neptune and Saturn can represent opposites, also, where Neptune represents spiritual and Saturn represents real (the internal world of individual human perception, shaped by our senses, brain structure, memory, and personal experiences.) However, while they all occupy the space of Aries, cardinal fire, fire-starter, life-giver, they are, in fact, combined. Reality does not have to tie you down, cut off your growth or smother your faith.

What is up to me is mostly me.

The Sun in Libra reminds me that there is a certain duality, but it can be, fair, moderate and cooperative. If I am taking care to be all that I can be, I must let others be about their path and be about my own.

Ruling myself is key to ruling my world.

The statement for the sphere of the Moon on the Tree of Life is, “In thought and word and deed, I rest my life, from day to day, upon the sure foundation of Eternal Being.” That sounds like Saturn and Neptune as well. Always, I am going to be real. I get old and I am ageless.

Practicum

At this full moon, notice where your thoughts are forking. Name one story of decline, then choose a more life-giving direction. Speak that choice aloud, identify one practical adaptation, and take one manageable action.
