Take this Panacea

Holding Space by Deborah Singletary, 12"x 9" (gouache on paper)

New Moon | March 13, 2021 | 23 Pisces 04’

When I look at the configuration of planets for this new Moon, I believe this might be a time when we are receptive to the idea that we could love one another—love one another to come together without fear of infecting or being infected.

. . . for every effect in our lives, there’s a thought pattern that precedes and maintains it. Our consistent thinking patterns create our experiences. Therefore, by changing our thinking patterns, we can change our experiences. — Louise Hay, Heal Your Body

The New Moon in Pisces, the water sign of emotional sensitivity and universal love, is conjunct Neptune, planet of higher love and Venus, planet of personal love. Together they make a bit of a love fest and coincide with the collective sigh of relief ushered in by the availability of a vaccine and the promise to be released from strict quarantine soon. The New Moon, Neptune and Venus, square Juno in Sagittarius, suggesting that we still have to reconcile being at odds with our fellow human beings who don’t believe as we do and think like us. Juno has been designated as a relationship asteroid in personal situations; but observing it during the pandemic has given me to understand that Juno is “we, the people,” humanity in general, the human in the upper left quadrant of the Wheel of Fortune, based on Ezekiel’s wheel.

Although Juno is not harmonious with the Sun, Moon, Neptune and Venus, in this chart, Jupiter conjunct Mercury in Aquarius is harmonious with both positions. Jupiter and Mercury make for optimistic, open minds. “Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.” Let us love those who do not seem worthy of love. In Aquarius this love is not of personal volition (as it would be in the opposite sign, Leo.) It is Universal or agape love. I associate Juno with Aquarius. Aquarius is assigned to The Star; and features a kneeling naked woman and an 8-pointed Star, and an 8-pointed star is the upper portion of the Juno symbol.

At the start of the pandemic, we were immersed in social psychic warfare with each other, especially on the political front (Sagittarius) where it seemed okay to trash and condemn the people whose political views differed from ours and this was on both sides, each side believing their virulent rhetoric as justified. We were also soon to learn that vicious and vitriolic racial ideas were still rife.

“We can begin to make a change today,” writes Louise Hay. “The thoughts we’ve held and the words we’ve repeatedly used have created our life and experiences up to this point. Yet, that is past thinking; we’ve already done that. What we’re choosing to think and say, today, at this moment, will create tomorrow and the next day and the next week and the next month and the next year, and so on. The point of power is always in the present moment. This is where we begin to make changes. The smallest beginning will make a difference.”

Vaccinate yourself with Divine Love. Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.

PRACTICUM

Change your thoughts to change your point of attraction. Based on the work of Dr. Masuro Emoto, “Messages from Water,” write a benefic thought and tape it onto a glass of water. Cover it and allow it to sit overnight to “absorb” the message. Drink the water the next day. You can write something like, “Let me be forgiven as I forgive,” or “thank you,” or “love and appreciation.” Do this daily for a week or longer, perhaps until the full moon that will occur on Sunday, September 28th at 8 Libra 18’. See if you don’t feel better and enjoy a brighter outlook.
