My Self Personified

Study War No More by Deborah Singletary

Full Moon | October 13, 2019 | 20 Aries 14’

The center of the circle of life, the astrology chart, extends in the four cardinal directions. The world is my personification of my self. The world is myself (Aries) revealed in other selves (Libra). When we have trouble in our relationships, we tend to focus on the other as the source of the problem. But we are the only source. Everything else is reaction to that which appears to be outside the self. This Sun in Libra shines a light on relationships, relativity, harmony, balance and justice.

At this Full Moon, both Sun and Moon square Pluto and Pluto becomes like a trigger. Pluto has to do with our perception of power. When we think of power, we generally think of force exerted against one’s will. Capricorn represents the powers that be. With both Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn, we have been dealing with the uses and abuses of power of others as well as our own sense of being empowered or not.

Intuition tells me that my recent reactions imply that I live in a hostile universe. As long as I think and feel this way, I will experience the universe as hostile. You might want to point out that of course the universe is hostile, look at all the stuff that’s wrong. Look at all those perpetrators. However, I must find the stream of Good and follow that safely through the threats. I get into that stream by unifying with the source of Good and letting it carry me. In other words, I focus on the Good which makes me feel better. This is what is meant by having good vibrations. My vibrations follow my thoughts, so I can’t dwell on what I don’t want or focus on the not good without reconciling with the Good that is omnipresent. I must imagine the perfect outcome. The truth is that I live in a friendly universe that supports my plans.

My inner counsel says, do not blame. Blame automatically creates a they and they are separate. Separation is our primal sin. “The Lord, thy God, is one.” Deuteronomy 6:4. The Book of Tokens’ meditation on Aleph, associated with Key 0 and Uranus says, “All and in All, shall I fight myself?”

Why not blame? Blame can feel so righteous and freeing. It is not my fault or my doing. I have no guilt. I have no responsibility. But blaming also disempowers the self, which is one of the reasons that the powerless feel ever more so. Don’t blame yourself either, though. Just make yourself response-able. Just Moon in Aries, let it begin with you.

The fourth planet at 20 degrees in this chart is Jupiter at 20 degrees of Sagittarius—strong in its own fiery sign, encouraging optimism, enthusiasm and expansion as it aspects the Moon. Be about and spread good news. Jupiter also favors the Sun in Libra, giving you the opportunity to expand your knowledge of others and to have satisfying and beneficial encounters and liaisons.

Practicum

“Like the make-believe of a child who is remaking the world after its own heart, create your world out of pure dreams of fancy. Mentally enter into your dream; mentally do what you would actually do, were it physically true. You will discover that dreams are realized not by the rich, but by the imaginative.” – Neville Goddard.
