The World at Your Feet by Inez Singletary (Flashing Brilliance Original Art Card)
Full Moon | April 29, 2018 | 9 Scorpio 39'
My first grasp of the world as a place where two entirely different realities existed simultaneously came as I realized that for some people having guns was a necessity, a part and a fact of life. Only a fool would not pack. I would be that fool. For me a gun that could maim or kill a human being, even if solely for self-defense, is not something I desire to have or hold.
This came to me about 25 years ago, when a friend showed me the little pistol she had in her purse. I could not wrap my brain around carrying a gun, ready to do bodily harm if necessary. I could not imagine whipping it out of my purse and aiming it accurately. That alone made it a bad idea to me.
However, I could see that my friend and others thought and felt differently. They could not relate to my unarmed world. Having a gun would make me nervous. Not having a gun would make them nervous. Each of us is living in the world that we imagine. Our choices and decisions come from how we see or imagine things.
Venus rules imagination in astrology, and in Qabalah, the Imaginative Intelligence is assigned to the Hebrew letter Nun, which is assigned to Key 13, the card labeled, Death, assigned to Scorpio. Scorpio is also related to the reproductive function. The desire for sex perpetuates the species. The desire for more and better life perpetuates the changes necessary to reproduce what we desire. Change is always imagined before it is realized.
Every desire is an ask. Every ask is a command. It has been said that when you ask, it is given. That is the law spoken of ages ago. It is not new of this age. In Matthew 7:7-8 we read:
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For everyone that asketh receiveth’ and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.
Taurus is “I have.” Scorpio is “I want," which often means I do not have the thing nor the perceived hope of getting it. The Moon in Scorpio squaring the South Node in Aquarius in the 10th means that in this period, the default thinking which keeps desires from reproducing is giving power away by subjugating oneself to external factors, especially people in authority or systems or a perception that reality is rigged against you.

I have also been made aware that emotionally, I have been living in two worlds. I see myself having to answer to a world that doesn’t give a damn about me and that seems stronger than the Good world. I have to remind myself of the potency and reality of the Good world wherein there is one power, and that power is good.
Celebrate the presence of what you want before it takes tangible form. The power of now is to see with your inner eye and hear with your inner ear and feel faithfully so that we don’t block good from coming by doubting that it can or will. Venus in Gemini can be called creative thought and word. Venus in Gemini, in harmonious relationship with Mercury in Aries makes this a good time to visualize with the aid of affirmations or mantras. Instead of creating scenarios around what you don’t want, form thoughts that affirm that the universe is friendly to your plans.
