In Due Time

In Due Time by Deborah Singletary

Full Moon | October 17, 2024 | 24 Aries 35’  It can be tempting to feel bad about yourself under Moon in Aries conjunct Chiron. You might feel that you are not good enough, that your efforts have not paid off, that the right stuff has not come to you or out of you. You see yourself in the eyes of others and you think that they see you as not measuring up. You may be looking at yourself the way you think you look to others. This is the nature of the Sun in Libra.

Aries is a good composer and organizer. But the Moon in Aries—not so much. When it comes to self, Moon in Aries might wobble.  Mars is not strong in Cancer and at the midheaven of the Sun-on-ascendant chart, it can be subjective about how it appears to “the world.” With the high energy of this Full Moon, there can be lots of volatility in family matters or other close relationships. A poor self-evaluation can cause one to get into conflict with others.

Venus rules the Libra Sun, and she is in the second house of the Full Moon Sun on the ascendant chart. Venus in Scorpio can cause a surge in desire and a fear of desires not being fulfilled because the opposition to Uranus can make one feel on edge as far as acceptance is concerned. If love and other desires are not delivered, one might feel unworthy, or worse,  shamefully lacking.

Your turn of mind might be, “Why am I not making it? Why isn’t it happening for me? What’s wrong with me? What am I doing wrong?

Pluto in Capricorn asks us to overcome the world. That means to overcome the old ignorance and prejudice and a “this far and no further” mindset. Pluto is back at 29 Capricorn to end the rule of limitation and fear. In some ways this feels like going into the darkness. Dawn is coming. Expect it. Be poised for it. Be at peace and nothing shall disturb you.

Practicum

Don’t give up when you feel the glare of the spotlight, and you don’t feel prepared to be seen. You may feel a disapproving world. If you can keep your head when you are tempted to have a meltdown. If you can trust yourself even if others doubt you and you doubt you too. Perhaps the best action is not to force things, even when social pressure seems to be pushing you. Wait for spring, when natural opening and unfoldment takes place. Perhaps the best action is to observe and prepare for a time likely to come another time.
