Good or Bad, Right or Wrong?

Full Moon | June 29, 2026 | 8 Capricorn 15’ Humankind suffers from opposition consciousness. Common thinking is that good should prosper and bad should be punished. Symbolically, light is associated with all things wonderful and to some, darkness is an abomination. Good should be rewarded. Bad should be punished.
We say it is good to share so we praise people who will give others the shirt off their backs. And those who keep their shirt for themselves are not praiseworthy. If I am the recipient of praise in this regard, I am good. If I keep my shirts for myself, I am bad. Many of us feel good or bad accordingly.
Rather than reach for good or bad, it is far healthier and beneficial to reach for alignment. Moving away from “good vs. bad frees us from the trap of binary judgment (which usually just brings shame, pride, or rigid expectations) and moves us into something dynamic. Alignment has resonance: a clear, clean frequency. Alignment is sustainable. I have enough shirts to share, or I love my shirts and am keeping them for myself or I don’t need three red shirts—I’d like to share one of them—all three are sustainable. None are either good or bad. When we are in alignment, presenting issues resolve or click into place. When we hear that click, we have alignment. If we don’t feel that click adjustment is required.
There isn’t a right or wrong (or a good and bad). There is only One. One is not divided into right and wrong, good and bad. All things have their birth from One. We have learned to call it good and bad, right and wrong.
The One does not reward or punish. The One does not ask us to be good. Humans ask us to be good. When we try to be good in this way, we are actually moving away from our inner guidance system. When we move away from our inner guidance system, we feel lost, hopeless, disconnected, cut off, oppressed, punished and persecuted. However, there is nothing and no one outside us to whom we are accountable— not even God if we put God outside ourselves.
We see people who we believe are bad, increasing and prospering, and as having power that we believe we do not have. These bad people thrive and make others suffer. What are we to do?
Do not push against what you do not want. Your purpose is to create. Do your own work. Orient yourself toward what feels resonant. Don’t swing your sword against that which in battle only drains you.
The Sun in in Cancer, sign of feelings. You can’t know yourself or know for yourself if you can’t feel your way. Part of the polarity that we feel at a full moon in Capricorn, is that if we have not been feeling optimistic, we are bound to feel heavy and restricted or denied. In other words, we are out of alignment. The bad feeling is an indicator that my thinking is out of kilter. Not that I’m right to feel bad or that I am bad or wrong. But if I am feeling bad, that’s not the whole truth. There’s a greater truth which when I reach for it brings me into alignment with the Source.
Practicum
When frustration or fear rises, pause before acting. Breathe slowly three times. Name what you are feeling without judging it. Then ask, what one small thought or action might settle me. Sometimes washing dishes or hanging up our clothes, drinking water, or a quick doodle move the needle toward alignment.
