I found myself wondering what it would have been like for me if I were a Jewish woman about my age living alone in Warsaw when the air was sprayed with ideas of lies and hatred that led to the disappearance of my neighbors, family, and friends. What if I was an undocumented parent living in the United States today who had to carry on working and carry on the dream that made me leave the life I knew. Would my family have a plan in the event we might be separated? If I were in these shoes, would I believe, or would I doubt?
I would believe and I would formulate the plans of a believer.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of misinformed men and women, I believe no evil for Thou art with me. Every good man, woman, child and creature is with me and with them I will dwell well always.
