Full Moon | February 19, 2019 | 0 Virgo 42’ When I heard Oprah say, “You become what you believe,” my mind flashed the connection between Pisces, the last sign, and Aries the first sign. Pisces into Aries resonated with me as emotional intelligence evolving into an individual’s vision or outlook.
Can you see yourself being what you want to be (Aries) and doing what you want to do (Mars); or do you have a desire with no fertilizing vision? Fertilization is an Aries concept, and Mars, the ruler of Aries, represents the penetrating organ. A person is who they see themselves to be. The world outside may influence your self-conception positively or negatively, but it is your vision and that which can be said to be in back of your head—your intuition—which inspires the vision that then shapes or cultivates your world. Only you have the vantage point behind your eyes.
Pisces is assigned to Key 18 of Tarot which is named, The Moon and said to represent the corporeal (bodily) intelligence. Pisces is a water (emotional) sign. Therefore, your body’s intelligence operates/communicates via your feelings. Paying attention to your feelings allows you to see your feelings as your personal guidance system. No one is in your body to know exactly how you feel. Sometimes you say you don’t know how you feel, but this may be because you are afraid of being honest and dealing with all the ramifications of what you are truly experiencing. You don’t admit or allow your feelings to inform you and guide you if you feel not quite up to snuff in the confidence to follow through arena. If you are out of touch with your feelings, then you might experience yourself saying or doing things without consciousness. You say, I don’t know why I did that or said that, when in fact you were out of touch with your feelings—your guidance system.
The bodily intelligence operates both with and independent of the conscious mind. For example; my heart beats, my blood pumps, my cells regenerate without any prompting or action from me. The bodily intelligence also operates with the conscious mind, in that it responds to your thoughts, both healthy and unhealthy. But you can’t get in there and run the body. You think healthy or unhealthy thoughts about your life and over time your bodily response follows accordingly. If you do not like what you see in your life experience, you can choose different thoughts. Over time those thoughts are noticeable as feelings and your life, the embodiment of your thoughts and feelings, becomes healthier.
Practicum
When you open your eyes and experience your world, be conscious of what feeling might be the fuel. Are you looking forward or are you dreading? Are you satisfied and content, or are you funky and unhappy? Moon is in Virgo from the full Moon on Tuesday, February 19 to Thursday morning. Are you critical of yourself and/or others? Are you worried? If everything is cool, carry on, but if fear, doubt, worry or criticism is present, choose a better thought. Be conscious of how improved thoughts improve outcomes without you lifting a finger.
