New Moon | Solar Eclipse | April 20, 2023 | 29 Aries 50’
“This is Truth about the Self . . . I am a center of expression for the primal will-to-good, which eternally creates and sustains the Universe.” This is the statement for the Crown on the Tree of Life, corresponding to the number one. This will-to-good is first and primal. This unified one is the shimmering Crown of the Tree that finalizes in the Kingdom residing in our flesh, in the whole makeup of our evolving in the world that can be one of constant sorrow, or one in which the spell of “evil” powers is broken.
Pluto in Aquarius is our relationship to power. Because of Pluto’s rulership of the underworld, Pluto is associated with the power wielded by dictators and despots and other ruthless entities. It is making a T-square to the New Moon and the North and South Nodes. This prepares us to be more conscious of our own power, awake, and aware, more able to choose and enjoy life because we are doing it our way.
There is only one power. Not two powers—one good and one evil, battling it out for supremacy. "I form the light and create darkness: I make peace and create evil: I, the LORD do all these things “ Isaiah 45:7*. It is believing in two powers that makes double “L” hell for us. Which power has us in its grip when we are questioning the one and primal will-to-good?
Florence Scovel Shinn says, “The object of the game of life is to see clearly one’s good and to obliterate all mental pictures of evil.” She also says, as God is absolute, there can be no opposing power, unless man makes the false evil for himself.
In Science of Mind, Ernest Holmes says, “True philosophy in every age has perceived that the power back of all things must be One Power.”
Recently, when having trouble accessing my email and having a bodily reaction which I surmise was the release of the stress hormone cortisol, I said to myself, “There is no evil,” and the fear and cortisol flush dissolved. There might be people who are up to no good, seeing what devilment they might create for others, but I had a moment of realizing that by fearing them, I was subjecting myself to their magnetizing power. By denying evil, I was making these mischievous ones ineffective in my life. I could feel that they were melting away like the Wicked Witch of the West when I took my attention off them. I was giving them power and being by my fear of them.
Since that day, whenever I feel fear, I say “There is no evil.” Evil is a made-up thing and is given life by our fear of it. When I feel fear, I am putting myself in harm’s way. When I fear not, I am on the path of safety.
The New Moon at 29 Aries 50’ is a precursor to the North Node entering 29 Aries this summer, when Pluto is back to 29 Capricorn, and will be opposed by the Sun making a Grand Cross to the North Node at 29 Aries, the position of the current New Moon. A Cardinal Grand Cross is about the pivotal human relationship at the point of the season change. Aries is Self, Cancer is family and our inner self. Libra is about one to one relationships and Capricorn is the societal relationship.
Practicum
Whenever you feel fear, say, “There is no evil.” Know that there is no evil save that which we create mentally or give power to. If you say it and mean it, you will be free of it.
