Cry the beloved country. Cry cruel world. Cry to say what words cannot. Cry for the dreams deferred.
Water the earth with your tears and things will grow that feed, shelter, and inspire. Grow yourself this way, by being in touch with what you feel and painting your life with these colors. Paint open doors and dining halls and exit signs.
We are there again, in or on the verge of despair again. Shall we break through? Shall we hold on and keep trying, or should we jump or bail? Will we ever or will we never?
The New Moon is in Pisces conjunct Jupiter conjunct Neptune. Four planets in this water sign feeling a little irritated with status quo, (three planets in Capricorn). Shall there be another war. Have we nothing and no way to overcome evil?
Someone said to me that there are soldiers and there are medics. Then make yourself a soldier medic. You are in a fight to heal the planet and you must do some basic training to prepare yourself for battle.
Don Miguel Ruiz talks about becoming a great warrior to defend what I will call your best self with your life. He says, “The warrior’s goal is to transcend this world, to escape from this hell, and never come back.” Transcend the world sounds like Pluto in Capricorn to me and I see Mars as the soldier. These hard and crazy times would like to draft you into the war of transcending your own destructive anger and obstructive judgments. Since Mars conjuncts Venus I’m going to say, “Love Warrior” as Tuck and Patti used to sing. Since Venus conjuncts Vesta, I will add, don’t let your flame die out. Keep love alive.

"We are in a fight for freedom", says Don Miguel Ruiz. He says, you can blame your government or your parents or God for your lack of freedom, but it is we who stop ourselves from being free by being seduced into entering false agreements that make us into something that we are not. We are Lovers who are not free to love.
Maybe we have these awful appearing evil enemies because love doesn’t enliven us and emit from us and see out of our eyes.
You can help the Ukraine (or any of the current numerous problems) by being a love warrior. The weapon is art to pierce a heart. Art is a form of activism and love is the artist’s material.
I imagine that some will groan and wave their hand. Well, what you got? You can curse or complain or feel helpless, but maybe, just maybe, you can make yourself and someone else feel better by an act of love and maybe we will have won a battle for your soul and solace; and made another life or lives better along the way.
Sun, Moon and Jupiter also sextile or harmonize with Uranus in Taurus. You might realize for one brief shining moment that you are free now and if you can get that, seal it in your mind. You will continue to be free in every moment.
Practicum
Volunteer in the love warrior army. Fight the war at home in your soul. Do something loving, even if it is strictly for yourself. Buy yourself some flowers or a piece of art (which will benefit a vendor or artist). Compose some music. Weave, knit, crochet, needlepoint. Call a friend or an enemy. Call a time out when you start fussing or cussing under your breath; instead write a poetic rant. When you are feeling blue or in the dark, light a candle.
