Your love life isn’t just your romantic, feel-good life. Your love life is your “life” life. Your quest is less for your soul mate than it is for mating with your life, marrying it to turn it into something fulfilling, to tune into that which animates your life from within. Live with punch, integrity, sultry, sassy, bold, and daring hot stuff, period. Your love life is your code and creed of self-expression, of giving your life all that you got, making sure you say I love you with the pulse of your blood, the guts of your soul, and the grease of your loins, and your breath.

Have a one-of-a-kind love affair with your life—all of it. Start today. Love the life you’re with. If it sucks, put that sucking to good use! There are places where sucking is appreciated. Eat a mango or orange with relish. Set the drawing-on-it energy on that! Let the juice juice you. Juicy can be messy, but then so goes the creative process sometimes.

We’re talking metaphor here, but be as literal as you want to. The hot stuff of the night can’t shine so bright if there is no hot stuff in the day’s light. The hot stuff of the night is bonus. Let life be an experience where you pull out all the stops in order to win it over—where you’re not waiting for life to make the first move.

Fact is, life makes many moves on you, sets many tables before you, and sometimes you have not noticed or appreciated it. You stood among your gifts in an inner sadness that did not let you see, let alone use, your bounty. You didn’t apply or disburse what you had. You stood in the bounty wanting more.

Be so inspired by life that you wake up to it each day eager to express your adoration and your desire to impress and thank it.  Be so inspired that you sink deeply into the sanctum of your life and let your life seed and have life in you. Be so bold that you take life and have a spin in the good dark with it even if it rattles, mystifies, or even frightens you.

What about your dreams? Are you daring enough to have and hold them when circumstances seem low and you are suffering loss? Are you afraid that your dreams will raise the ire of others and that they will set upon you in their jealousy and snarl at your daring? Are you thinking that you won’t try because if you lose you will not take defeat humbly, but will want to die? Is it this one or no one? This or nothing more? No other hope, no other door to open, no reason to smile again or breathe again?

To love is to take your chances. To love is to gamble and lay it on the line or wear it on your sleeve. To love is to be bold, dramatic, and expressive. Do you take chances or do you always play it safe? Are you giving life some robust gusto? Or are you sure you are defeated before you have begun?

Our last New Moon was in Libra. We say Libra wants to please others. Scorpio wants to be emotionally accepted by others. Rejection is an emotional blow. It may trigger a sense of worthlessness or shame. Libra acts. As a cardinal sign and as an air sign, Libra initiates. Libra rules Venus, planet of love. This confirms that one should not wait for love, or even seek love. One should be love. A lover always has lovers. A lover never loves alone.

Scorpio is a water sign. Water signs react. Hence, often in the Scorpio arena this time of year makes you more reactionary. You may take input to an extreme, because Scorpio is dramatic, like Leo. So it is easier for you to get your feelings hurt, or be so touchy that no one can communicate with you for fear of being stung by the stinger . But Scorpio is ruled by Mars, hence there is the ability to act in this sign. Or you can claw your way. You can go low, slow, and tenaciously. You can buck up instead of back out when things don’t first go your way.

Don’t wait, wallow, wander, get stuck or swamped. Keep moving. Be pulled by the primal soul mate of your Charioteer (inner driver), the horse.
