Freedom’s Comin

“Good news, freedom’s comin!” The song says.

Good news, freedom’s here.

“Free your mind and the rest will follow,” another song says. The dictionary says that freedom is “the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint; absence of subjection to foreign domination or despotic government.” While the second part of the definition may seem to be in question for some, most of us will agree that “the power or right to act, speak or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint is certainly intact,” unless one perceives otherwise.

From my observation perch, there is a whole lot of struggling going on with the powers we perceive to be.  We create the obstacles that we fight. This is subtle, I know, but it is worth pondering. For example, our perceptions of the 45th are as varied as we are. We don’t hate or love or fear the man for the exact same reasons.

45 is the Name and Number of Adam in Hebrew, where letters and numbers are the same and words that add up to that number all have something in common, even if it is antithetical. Adam is generic humanity, not just that first human that messed it up for the rest of us. You and I are Adams—male and female, we are Adams. We are free attractors of the sea of our experience. We are in one boat, one vessel and one sea.

High five 45. High five, you and I.

“Up from the grave, he arose.
With a mighty triumph o’er his foes.” –Robert Lowry

We, you and I, are he who rises. He is Adam, Human, aka Man. We are getting up out of the coffins of circumstance and “powers that be.” An obstacle-course life with problems and pitfalls and pity parties that go on and on and repeat is a needlessly rat in a maze-of-quiet-desperation life.

Adam is the namer. Adam is also the blamer. Essentially, Adam is us saying, “Let me tell you why my life is not working. It is no fault of my own. It is the fault of the woman Eve (subconsciousness). It is the fault of this one and that one and those people and my mother. If only they would do right, I would thrive like I am supposed to.

Have no fear, we are fighting this and that out there because we are breaking free of the lies that bind us in a “man-made, mind made hell.”

This is not about the man. It is about the hu-man.

The New Moon is in Aries, the sign of the individual, the one who comes first. The natural zodiac begins with Aries and represents the emergence of the individual from the womb, essentially alone.

Sun, Moon, Venus, Uranus and Mercury are all in Aries, putting a lot of onus on the individual. Our individual ability is being tested.

You may feel, “What can I do? I am only one person”. What you can do is relax, take it easy and cultivate positivity. You can pay attention to how you rise in the morning. Instead of picking up the worries and problems and ‘to do’s’ of the day, perhaps you can do what Oprah said she does, keep an inspirational book next to your bed, and read some pages from it, so that you may greet the day with a tone set for positive that we might meet and greet in that field “beyond right doing and wrong doing.”

The Moon will be conjunct Uranus, freedom, awakening and revolution at 10:15 pm on Tuesday the 28th Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) and 1:15 am on Wednesday Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). The Sun will conjunct Uranus on April 13th, 10:30 p.m. PDT and 1:30 p.m. EDT on Thursday April 14th. See if you can catch a glimpse of how you are or can be free at those times. If you are asleep, note your dreams.
