released-from-the-bonds-of-scarcity“There is a place in you that you must keep inviolate,” Maya Angelou told her son when he complained that he did not have friends. “You must keep it pristine,” Maya continued, “clean, so that nobody has the right to curse you or treat you badly. Nobody. No mother, no father, no wife, no husband, nobody.”

In order to keep inviolate, you must acknowledge and honor that place, the house of your immortal soul and your conscience and your conscientiousness as you play the game of life. Immortality might sound like a big leap. You can practice this by practicing how you carry yourself, head up, firm, resolute and self-respecting.

It does not take physical strength to keep the would-be rapist from raping you or the would-be defiler from despoiling you. It does not take a series of strategies to keep yourself from being felled by a policemen’s bullet.

It only takes your recognizing and remembering your “unconquerable soul.” This inviolate place is your place of refuge in times of stress and storm. It is your place to dwell every day if you want to live open, happy, and honestly.

Scorpio is the sign of emotional acceptance or rejection. In Scorpio, you want to be wanted. In Scorpio you want to be part of the heat of living. You want to be involved.

The keywords for Scorpio are “I desire.” If we are not getting our desires met, we can become chronically dissatisfied emotionally, and are likely to be either angrily blaming somebody or depressed.

The New Moon and Mercury are sextile the North Node in Virgo giving us the opportunity to work harmoniously toward what we want by keeping emotionally resilient and mentally focused on a wonderful and healthy world. The Sun and Moon with the aid of Mercury is what accomplishes The Great Work. Sun and Moon are dominion. Mercury is the knowledge of dominion.

We have to know who we are, know that we are free, and know that bondage is an illusion that we perpetuate in thought and word.

At this Sun and Moon trine Neptune in Pisces the urge to express love is strong and it is aided by surrendering to the wholeness and goodness that is part of being part of the All, absolutely one and perfect.

With Saturn conjunct Venus in Sagittarius we can either be serious about love or we can disrupt the flow of healing between the water signs by painting pictures of shortage and despair.

Mars exalted in Capricorn is the builder. The builder oversees the construction project where first there is a phase of demolition of the outworn.  As reconstruction progresses there is cutting, sawing, banging and hammering. We have been going through a stressful demolition, rebuilding phase. We are beginning to settle down if for no other reason than that we are tired. We must teach ourselves to be all right no matter what happens in the outer world. Inner harmony allows the outer harmony to happen.

“If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment.” – Marcus Aurelius

Scorpio is a tenacious water sign. Water responds. We must teach ourselves to rise up and live with the courage which will help us maintain our desire for life. Note how you are carrying yourself. Keep your head up, your heart open and your walk strong.
