Lunations

Fight or Fly?

Lunar Eclipse
June 26, 2010
4 Capricorn

Are you going to stand your ground and stand the enemy down? Are you going to persist, or will you quit? Are you going to fight, or will you be blown off and blown away?

The energies are high for walking away because the pressure is too much. You just can’t withstand any real metabolic change. It’s like the crisis of being born. What do you think the baby feels like? Yippee, I’m being born now? Or, what the heck? The baby is being squeezed out of that place they have been safely carried, and I’m guessing it is crisis for mother and baby.

On the eve of change, we are not always so happy, even if it is good. Some kind of thundering quaking begins to occur within and we just don’t know exactly where we are going, what we will become or if we can sustain it. What if we fail? What if we really look foolish because we let it out there and now we are going to fail on a more public stage where others will be looking at us and judging us. Oh Lord. what if we are found lacking? Rather than risk change, we remain as we are, even behind old fences and within failed but familiar circumstances.

We are being called to emotional resiliency; the ability to withstand and endure change, even if it is so uncomfortable that we just want to quit. Chances are if you are reading this, you are a light bearer. And to really be a light bearer, you have to be a light being. The light must not only be on your tongue, it must be in your vibrational response to things.

You are only human. So maybe your first reaction is to frown or to fear. Maybe you want to be bitter and vitriolic. Maybe you react like a big baby or a spoiled brat. Maybe you don’t do yourself proud to yourself. And maybe to avoid consciousness of those unpleasant suggestions you balk and walk. And as you walk you blame. Or you dig a depression into which to fit your imperfection.

Now is the time for all good humans to come to the aid of our estate. Please don’t run. Don’t walk away from the gold. Bear with your discomfort and be present for the light being to brighten in you and become more “on” and powerful.

“You may be concerned with how you treat the planet for future generations, but what about how you treat others? The way you react to certain situations in life has more of an impact than you think! Find out why the new era of social responsibility might just be emotional.”
(Oprah magazine)

This statement captures the grand cross in cardinal signs, including Saturn in the mutable sign Virgo. The cardinal cross is the relationship cross, the individual, Aries; partnership or lack of it, Libra; emotional resiliency, Cancer and disciplined response and overseeing; Capricorn.  Saturn, ruler of Capricorn is in late degrees of Virgo, the sign of the light bearer who can also be the critic. Sometimes in order to make it better, or more perfect, little things have to be picked on and loose ends have to be taken care of. If you have been battered by criticism, you may be overly sensitive to it, even when you need it. Or you can live always waiting for the other shoe to drop (Pisces), always waiting for the rejection or the firing or the disgrace.

The grand cross is the relationship cross and Jupiter conjunct Aries reinforces the personal agenda, or for the agenda for which you are personally responsible. You have to do your part and not be a weak thread or a hole in the fabric of life. Remember. Everyone is experiencing Jupiter in Aries somewhere, and here they want to be free. And they meet you where you want to be free.

And then there is the Pluto in Capricorn part that is being treated to the tidal pull of the Moon, where we may feel like we just want to blow emotionally because we can’t stand the hint of our own shadow. We may express this as a disdain for authority or for anyone who tries to boss us around. We can make someone else the tyrant to be undermined, instead of following the dictates of the North Node in Capricorn that tells us to take ourselves in hand and get ready to exalt in cooperation and harmony.

Oh! This illuminates what I’m going through. I’m a Taurus, but Uranus is exactly squaring my ascendant and I feel the winds of change, but because change hasn’t manifested concretely, I feel a a little restless! This Lunations is a calming wind. Thank you.

  2. Ayesha Grice Says:

Another good message, thank you! Yes change can be scary, especially for fixed signs (Taurus,Leo,Scorpio and Aquarius). I tend to want to stay stuck in the devil I know then to accept the unknown, which could potentially be something better. I’ve learned through the years to just Let Go and Let God but usually this happens when my back is against the wall and change is inevitable :o) I love your writings, it’s always good stuff.

  3. Sharon Says:

Soooo, this explains alot, but how do I get through it all? I am a puddle of opposites being pulled to the breaking point. . . Yes, run – far and fast. But No stand, push through it like I always do; withstand it all because I know it all works out in the end. I am being torn apart!! Lunations has HELPED ALOT, but where/how do I go on from here? What’s the next step(s)? I am so glad I checked in with you/Lunations. With this understanding I can hold firm (gripping the handrails for support) and meet what is coming head on – no “monsters” jumping out of dark corners for me. Or better yet, I will leave a (night) light on to guide me through the darker hours. Thank you for providing/being that “light,” bringing clarity to the dark. Now I can take up the beackon and be the strong, light bearer I know I am, even in my darkest hours. Hey, wait, it’s not so dark now … I see the morning star rising out of the dark …
    Thanks and Many Blessings!

  4. Jennie Says:

Did this ever arrive on the right day–thank you.

  5. Dorothy Randall Gray Says:

I was definitely eclipsed this week and I thank you for bringing light and perspective to this Capricorn soul.

  6. Niamo Says:

wonderful message. i’m so in it as well. This also confirms the jujumama.com “doing” phase interpretation of the full moon. We’re to wear purple or red and go all out in pursuit of our dreams. Interestingly the stone is bloodstone, which affects the root, grounding it in a puddle of power from which the kundalini may rise and like a wave ride us into the transformed state. Thanks once again for confirming a space I am in and articulating it so well. I am seeing it Delicious being reborn.

  7. Inez Singletary Says:

I am pleased, honored and gratified by this feedback. Thank you all!

  8. Morenike Olabunmi Says:

Thanks again Inez. Now I understand why I was screaming on Saturday to release the pent up feelings I was experiencing. I was blessed to have been in a place where I could let it all go because I needed to be emotionally, physically and spiritually present for a loved one.

May you continue on your life’s path.
