25 Pisces 10’
What can one person do? Without one, there are none. Your “one” counts. Your one and my one joins us. Where there are two or more, there is a third. The third is the statement two make together, the purpose they fulfill, the tasks they perform and the strength of the alliance that is formed, not for the sake of either, but for the third and highest. The third and the highest is All. It is every one of us.
In order to truly relate and have things come out best for both of us, we have to be aiming at that which is central or above. And if I am complaining that the enemy is the enemy because they are not meeting me there, I am not doing my “home” work either. Alignment with the Highest is my job. It is most important that I do my part.
My part is to stay congruent with that straight center that is the staff of the stuff of life. I may keep straying and waiting for your or blaming it on you, but it all depends on me.
For the full moon in Virgo chart I wrote, “I thank God that we take back the night from the thieves and the criminals and the streets of wall. I am not a victim.” A few days later I hear that Ariana Huffington has suggested that we move our money from the big banks to smaller banks and credit unions (See http://moveyourmoney.info/.
Then I read that Bank of America was going to stop charging overdraft fees. Your debit card will be rejected, but you won’t incur a $35 fee for a 35 cents overdraft.
I wonder if it is a reaction to “move your money?” I wonder how many people have actually moved their money? The banks wouldn’t announce that they are bowing to consumer heat, but I wonder. I wonder how much that simple act might empower us? I wonder if that simple act will lead to other simple acts of self-empowerment? If you do it, I do it, our neighbors, friends, relatives and co-workers do it. Robert Johnson, on CBS’ Sunday morning on February 28th, 2010, called it voting with your money. Credit unions cannot charge more than 18% interest. 18% interest is going to look really good to those of us who are paying $30%. Credit unions operate for the benefit of members, not corporate stockholders.
I was actually advised to move my money to a credit union a couple of years ago by my lawyer. I did not do it then because of the perceived inconvenience of not having branches all over the place. But the truth is that I mostly bank at my branch anyway, and a few extra miles to the credit union branch is no big deal, especially with direct deposit. I actually joined a credit union last year, but they’ve gotten only a little of my money. Now I’m going to move it from the big bank.
I do believe that we have not paid attention and exercised our will. Make sure you pay attention to the credit card information on your bill as it is newly presented.
Don’t get frustrated. Don’t feel like a victim. Don’t feel like you are powerless. You are powerful. You are fully empowered. All the power that ever was or will be is right there where you are! A way is made for you. Say that. A way is always made for me. I am so thankful for the way. Be on guard at the doorway of your mind.
The language of thought perpetuates the status quo. Your language frames the window and the door of your mind. Listen to yourself talk about how it is. If you are describing something over which you have no control and no input, zip it. Hush, unless you really want to use it as an excuse for your lack of participation. Make your windows cathedral tall and magically stained bright. See a bright future, not a dismal one.
You may not know how. Don’t let that keep you from making a frame. Frame the words of liberation and good living. To me the frame is the bare bones of it, the structure of it. It is as simple as the difference between the thought that “the economy” makes it not a good climate for commerce, and the thought that “the economy” was an opportunity for good commerce.
The new moon in Pisces does signal the end of winter, the end of being cold and feeling distant, alone and shut off. Pisces is about all of us as one great body, collectively painting the landscape of our lives, the openings, the paths and the bridges. Pisces is about faith and hope when all looks dark and lost. Pisces is about yielding only to the splendid in life and caring for all. Pisces is inner peace that allows one to distinguish friend from enemy and deal fearlessly with both.
