“It is so hard to do,” the self-professed deeply insecure guilt-warped girl told me. You can’t just stay positive.
Yes. It is difficult. Many say it is the most difficult thing there is. And yet, it is always as close as a decision, always as close of making up your mind, choosing where you want to go.
When it comes right down to it, you must just do it. It doesn’t matter how difficult it is, how deeply your neuroses are embedded, how legitimate your fears, how long you have been entrenched. You must just do it and do it and do it. Negative thinking is default thinking. Negative thinking is easy by force of habit. Negativity has a life force of its own and you don’t have to make any special effort to be negative. You just go there. You just dwell on what could go wrong. The media and your friends regularly remind you of the negative. Easy!
Keeping your head when all about you are losing theirs and claiming it a sane act is difficult. It is challenging to make up the invisible mind and keep it from unraveling in indecision and contradiction.
“In thought and word and deed, I rest my life, from day to day, upon the sure foundation of eternal being.” This statement is attributed to the 9th Sephiroth of the Qabalistic diagram called The Tree of Life. The 9th Sephiroth is the sphere of the Moon, our emotional, habitual, psychological dwelling place. It is the area of the automatic consciousness. If you think mostly negative, it will be easy and automatic to go there and dwell there, buried in a box of bad framing, unable to get out, unable to express yourself, to let yourself go, unable to be childlike, creative, playful and faithful.
To resist the inertia and put your mind in a positive state, you must moment-by-moment and day-by-day guard your thoughts, words, and deeds. Your thoughts are your garden. Beautiful thoughts make good soil and other conditions for growing things, for giving you the fruition, fulfillment and glory. Fearful, limiting thoughts that beg you to stay in an uninspired state make the garden overgrown with wild weeds and dry conditions. Growth is just not encouraged. Beauty is choked and stifled. When you try to tend it, you get overwhelmed and cannot see the garden for the weeds. You despair at hacking at the overgrowth of unwanted matter. And out of your garden, fruitful or barren, comes your words, your representatives. Do you say “I just can’t. It’s too hard. I’ll never?” Or do you say, “Yes I can. It’s easy when I use less toil. I will!”
Day by day, thought and word. Your deeds will follow your words. Nothing to do if you can’t and it’s too hard and you’ll never. Plenty to do if you can and you will and there’s no time like the present.
You rest your life upon a fulcrum, a center. You have little play to the left and a little to the right of the fulcrum center. Anxiety is born of uncertainty. And you may not be certain. You might not know how. There might be a din of frantic noise around you. This is why you rest. You leave your life in good hands, based on the foundation of eternal being. There is never a deadline to be frightened of. There is always another step possible.
Many of us have a life-changing decision to make, but we don’t want to upset the applecart and make things more difficult for ourselves. However, there is a rumbling within. It may be a thing whose time has come and there is just no stopping it. Everything you really want to make your life different is outside of your comfort zone. Determine to make peace with discomfort and get unstuck. No reason to fear the worse
Where my women and my men at? Where are the tender and strong? Where are my dreamers and believers? Where are those strong and resolute weavers/workers for a better world than the world our eyes behold? Please register your coordinates in powerful thought word and deed. Choice is powerful. Choice is you making some kind of play, as opposed to doing nothing. Choice is you doing deeds instead of repeating the familiar or doing nothing.
For emotional security you must choose your own words, thoughts, and deeds. The buck must stop with you. And it must begin with you. Keep things moving and don’t get tight. Don’t withhold when you can let go and make room for more. Even if you have less or a little or nothing, you can splash instead of scrimp. Pick yourself up and get back in the race, but don’t race. Don’t be in a hurry. Just make sure you are present. When you are present your actions are accomplished with expert timing. It becomes more automatic. You are in the flow.
If you are saying, “I can’t, you are not present. You are living in the future of your worst imaginings. That will keep you from moving forward or keep you sliding into disaster. Choose. Make a decision. Leap and land. You are safe when you take a leap and land; take a leap and land again. Then you know that stagnant and status quo is not safety.

Dear One, again a really good message. During Full Moon times, the emotions get larger than life, like the Full Moon in the night sky. Whatever we focus on at the time of the Full Moon, will expand and grow like the tides in the oceans. If we get into the habit of planning for Full Moon times and remember to stay positive we can down play the potential to get caught up in a rip tide of negative emotions. Thanks for the reminder. Love & Light, Ayesha
