Harriet Tubman went back and forth along the Underground Railroad numerous times to bring over 300 slaves to freedom in the North. She says she would have freed more, if they hadn’t thought of themselves as slaves.

I identify with Harriet. I admire Harriet. I could not imagine making that trip by foot so many times facing so many dangers. Harriet Tubman is an inspiration, a spirit guide.

Perhaps I love Harriet because I was born with the Moon conjunct the North Node. In one form of Ageless Wisdom, the North stands for the place of greatest darkness where gold is found. The treasure is in the darkness. In order to claim the treasure, the scary darkness must be braved.

Eclipses occur when either the New or Full Moon occur near the North or South Node. The North Star was the compass of the freedom bound.

The North Node is The Dragon’s Head. The South Node is The Dragon’s tail. The simple counsel is to follow the North Node. The counsel is to brave the darkness for the gift of the light.

The message of the North Node in Aquarius which is conjunct the Sun is that the world belongs to those who live fearlessly enough to be naked on the plain at twilight with only an ibis for protection as illustrated by “The Star” Tarot Key in the Waite deck . The world belongs to those who ponder their lives, and listen for the guidance of the inner, higher plane. The world belongs to those who do not go it alone, except to listen for the Lone Voice of the One.

Harriet said, “I talks to God and God talks to me.” Blessed are those who know this is possible and true. Blessed are those who trust their access to the orderly inner plane where private instruction is the simple rule of the day. Shut out the voices, no matter how loud or persistent, unless the news is good.

The ways of man always break down. Revelation is the sweet star of peace that follows storm and stress of awakening. Revelation is always available at the cusp of the storm, but some of us prefer the darkness of living storm to storm.

We must be careful to put the Dragon’s head before the tail. The head is the answer that is always available to those who still themselves in order to ask and listen. The tail is personal will. As long as the personal is linked to the impersonal, we’re cool. But if that tail starts trying to wag the dog, refusing direction, instruction, openness, and light, we are in trouble.

The Full Moon Solar Eclipse is an opportunity to be healed and to heal in return. We must remember to dream. Dreams don’t come true if you don’t dare dream them. Take complete and exquisite care of the thoughts you think. If it’s not calm and confident, don’t think it.

Venus is in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn. Vision squares obstruction. Hard-headedness squares discipline. Inner squares outer. Aries square Capricorn can ask, what can I do? I am only one against the many. The creative eye has to reckon with the appearance of dying circumstances. Many of us will have our abandonment issues come up. Am I worthy? Some will ask. Does the society say I am worthy? Some will ask. Can I dream amidst the chaos? Can I hold onto the vision that the Universe pours forth generously to me while all around me are messages that say I’d better be grateful for little? Choose what you will think. Accentuate the positive. Smile a while. Put on some music. Dance. Let good get into you.

Watch your disposition. Don’t give in to crankiness. Observe yourself. If you are thinking the dark and crooked thought it don’t feel good, right? Why entertain those images? Breathe. Be still. Listen. Trust. Expect the best and the brightest. If ghosts besiege you, shake them off. Turn on your heart light and follow the Star.
