Dearest Inez:

What is and what should be is a state of being. I have said many a time that I do not expect much so when I do receive I am then grateful. It’s like Christmas every day.

I am grateful that I have what I have because I could have nothing. And even then, nothing is a lot to have.

I have my health, my family and friends and an income to pay for the other little needful things in life like room and board. I have you and Deborah to give me even more insights on life.

What more can I ask for?

Thank you Cassandra. I appreciate this feedback. Yes. When you’re in the process of moving, you want to be able to be thankful amidst the chaos of change at both your old place and your new, because both will challenge you to complain.

So on point, Inez!! This reminds me of the complaining I’ve done, the dreaming about moving, instead of stopping in the moment and giving thanks, realizing I’m blessed already. I even said to you last night that I was afraid I “was being ungrateful”!
